How to get to the Basin Campground – What will you see on the way??

Sometimes the journey can be the highlight. Come with ECOTREASURES founder Damien on a short little clip of the walk from West Head Road 2.75km (45mins) along the Basin Trail down to the Basin Campground.  This is our commute to work, it’s amazing. Park your can in Australia’s 2nd oldest National Park and stroll down to paradise. It is also suitable to ride a mountain bike. The Basin campground is where we run our paddle boarding, kayaking and camping HQ.  If you are planning to get into the great out doors across NSW it is worth investing in an annual NPWS pass to give you access all across NSW. Sydney has so many amazing areas ready for you to explore.

Sydney has so many amazing areas to explore. If your visiting or you’re exploring your own city the beaches and hiking trails are endless. You can hike the coastline or banks of the waterways or you can go bush. Sydney is big and can be busy, but if you know where to go there is ample space. This is due to fact we have so many conservation areas in and around our city. Ku-ring-gai has so many trails and also offers swimming and paddling options. If your keen to escape into nature then plan a hike with some friends and see what you can discover.
