How to get there 
Catch the breathtaking Fantasea Palm Beach Ferries or water Taxi across Pittwater waterway from Palm Beach Wharf to the Basin Campground. Ferry timetable. The 1.5 hr L90 bus ride from Sydney CBD will drop you off directly at the Palm beach Wharf. If you are driving to Palm Beach there is free parking available on the street. You can also drive to West Head via West Head road and park at the top of the Basin Trail and walk in to the camp ground on a 2.5 km hike with a steep descent. Please always check NPWS website for updates and important information before entering the Park. The journey is part of the experience so embrace the adventure which ever way you decide to come to the Basin.

Extra information 

The Basin Campground area has picnic and BBQ facilities, Overnight camping, toilets, showers, bush walking trails to ancient Indigenous rock engravings and open space to relax under a tree with family or friends or play sport in the open grass area. Great place for Birthday Parties.

*Day entry – Please note you must pay National Park landing fee on arrival at the Basin Wharf Adults $3, Children $2 and entry fee by car is $11 per car.

Camping fees – All campsites – site fee $28 per night (2 person inclusive); $14 per night per additional adult (16 years+); $7 per night per additional child (5-15 years); infants free (0-4 years). Overnight camping information and online booking.
