Manly Snorkel Tour – Meeting Point and Arrival

  • Meeting Location: Shelly Beach, Manly
This area is accessible via paved pathways from the Manly township. There is disabled parking drop off spot next to toilet block at Shelly Beach and a 2nd spot in the main Shelly Beach car park near the exit of the car park.
Public transport (bus and ferry) and paid parking are available nearby, but the final approach to the beach involves a gentle, paved slope.
  • Car Park Accessibility:
The car park is ground level and provides basic accessibility, including accessible restrooms. There is a stair case and steep drive way from car park to toilet and beach area.
  • Beach and Ocean Access:
Shelly Beach is accessible via a concrete boat ramp, but the transition to sand and rocky shoreline may be challenging for mobility aids depending on the level of sand to the ramp. The water entry itself is off the beach and may require assistance for those with limited mobility.
